Positive thinking is a serious game changer.
Positive thoughts, positive attitude, positive everything will bring you positive energy. Seriously, it sounds so silly, but there are so many benefits to reap just by changing your mindset. Stick with me for a minute and think about it...
Have you ever found yourself around that one person who constantly gives a negative vibe? If you haven't, then I want you to ask yourself; are YOU that person?
Do you look at the glass half empty or half full? Do you have bad days or even have a bad five minutes that you milk allllll frickin' day?
Are you able to take a negative situation and find yourself a positive outcome in it?
It’s not easy, and I too am still working at it, but I have noticed a HUGE difference in my mindset when I took the negative away and started thinking positively.
The easiest way to start is by replacing negative words or thoughts with positive ones. If you constantly tell yourself "I can not" you're going to convince yourself that it is true. One of Nichole's favorite things to say is "Whether or not you tell yourself you can or you can't, you're right." Let that shit simmer for a second...
Start telling yourself “I can” and watch what you are about to do. ACHIEVE SHIT.
Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start getting excited about what can go right! For some reason this phrase really sticks with me. How many times have I deprived myself of a good time because I thought negatively about the situation going into it?! PROBABLY 1,000 TIMES.
Fix your thinking and your problems will fix themselves.
I can’t say I actually grasped this until I started working at NMB. Something about working with such powerful and uplifting women really makes you change the way you view your own way of life.
It is ALWAYS positive comments and goal driven personalities in this studio.
Positivity does not only affect YOU, but it has also has a huge impact on those who are around you. It’s crazy how our moods can change accordingly to those we surround ourselves with.
I always say “happy wife, happy life” and although this phrase is geared towards your man to keep you happy, in reality YOU are the only one who can find true happiness for yourself before creating it for those around you.
The vibes you exhale, others inhale. Would you rather send negative waves towards someone else and ruin their day or send positive vibes and be the reason they had a great one?
I find myself really channeling my inner vibes when I take yoga classes. I know it sounds super cliché, but it is such a great way to clear your mind and get yourself into a new way of thinking. You do not have to be in shape, flexible, or whatever else you are thinking to take a yoga class. If you just go for the mind clearing aspect, you are still going to benefit.
If you don't have the time or availability to go to a class, listen to guided meditation on youtube. That's FREE girl, and takes no effort besides looking up the video and hitting play.
Do what you have to do to achieve ultimate happiness in your lifetime, but start with positive thinking. You’ll notice a difference in not only yourself, but those who you surround you too.
