CHANGE YOUR LIFE WITH BOUDOIR | NICHOLE MARIE BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER | SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA
“What are you TALKING about?? YOU ARE ELASTIGIRL! My God, pull yourself together! ‘What do I do [when loosing my husband]?’ Is this a question?! You will show him that you remember he is Mister Incredible, and you will remind him who YOU are. You know where he is, GO. Confront the problem.. fight..WIN!” - Edna Mode, The Incredibles
I WANT TO HELP YOU CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
5 years ago, 3 months after having our first baby, my husband (who I had been in a relationship with for 11 years) and I decided to separate, which lasted 9 months. During the course of time it took for us to break up, we lost a lot of emotional and physical chemistry. We became friends and co-parenting partners versus lovers or husband and wife.
I tell you this right off the bat because I want you to understand that I’ve been at the bottom of a relationship before, and felt like I would never make it back to the top.
Thankfully, it didn’t last long :)
2 years ago when I started diving into why boudoir photography was having such an impact on not only my clients but also me, I realized that we need to stop obsessing about the imperfections of our bodies. Instead, we need to start focusing on the quality of the relationships we have with those around us including the respect we give and receive; most importantly, from our spouse.
I want to help you identify your flaws so that you can understand this;
It doesn’t matter what your flaws are, as long as you can appreciate them, and be confident in yourself despite them.
Only when you let go of your obsession over the physical can you concentrate on deepening the emotional connections you have with others, and (re)learn to admire your body.
One day, you will walk into a room and you won’t care if your body doesn’t look as good as the person next to you. You won’t care that you’re not 18 anymore. It’s natural to lose the 18 year old body. Girl, let me remind you- there is no way to stop time.
Everyone’s body eventually changes, and the only way to stay healthy in your MIND is to accept the fact that you are still the same beautiful person when those changes do happen.
Just because the outside looks different, doesn’t mean the inside does.
This is a problem in a lot of relationships I believe. Our bodies change and our spouse may see it, but then OUR attitude towards our bodies changes.
Our confidence, admiration, and respect for our bodies is lost, and then what happens? Our men lose respect for US. And vice versa.
I want to help you change your life, before it gets to that point. Before you get to the point of no return, and you’ve lost respect, interest, connection.. I want to help you stop the process. And if you’re already lost, let’s get it back!
There’s no better time than right now. Don’t wait to lose 10 pounds when you haven’t even started working out yet. Don’t wait for something in your mind to change or until you feel “ready.” Do it RIGHT NOW.
In the words of Edna Mode, “Confront the problem, fight, WIN!”
